Bidston Hill Underground Tunnels

Undiscovered for over 10 years Bidston Tunnels can now be shown to the public again. The Tunnels are not open nor is it easy access to enter them, but there is a way in and we took advantage of the moment and decided to photograph and map the tunnels and share with everyone as so little information about them seems to exist today on the internet.

We have the Tunnels Measured and a mapped with the dimensions putting to rest common rumours and myths. We carefully explored the Tunnels for any items from the past? What did we find? Does it look the same to you now as it did to you as a child? We also found the exit point for the Emergency shaft on Bidston Hill, 100ft above the Tunnels.
